Cinema 4D Python Plugin:
Python script based plugin that generates fragmentation based on mesh source
Installation:
Place “Divider” folder into the Maxon plugins directory
– Windows: C:Program FilesMAXONCINEMA 4D R…plugins
– MacOS: /Applications/MAXON/CINEMA 4D R…/plugins/
Usage:
- Place any polygon or primitive object (that contains less than 50 polys) under Divider object
- Play with following settings:
- Iteration – number subdivision recursion steps
- Sliders X/Y – proportions of subdivision
- Remapping X/Y – curves that adjust everything (on the top of sliders and noise)
- Noise mix amount – quantity of noise control/amplitude
- Noise loop progress – parameter that drive noise animation (need to keyframe 0% and 100% for loop)
- Noise frequency – adjust frequency for all animated noise
