It’s no exaggeration that cryptocurrency is changing the world. It’s already proven to be the greatest investment vehicle in human history. Had you, unlike Laszlo Hanyecz, saved those 10,000 Bitcoins he traded away for two pizzas in 2010, you would have around half a billion USD at the end of 2021.
And this is just the beginning. Cryptocurrency, and the smart contracts and decentralized applications they make possible, are going to forever change the world’s business, economic and political landscape.
As the world emerges from the COVID-19 catastrophe, governments have been devaluing their currencies by printing more and more of it in an attempt to pay off their loans, and treading a fine line in an attempt to control inflation. Some countries are starting to say “enough.” In 2021, El Salvador became the first country to make Bitcoin legal tender. More are starting to follow.
It’s still early in the game. The overwhelming majority of the world’s population has not yet invested in this new economy, though the number is growing steadily. Those who have the knowledge to take advantage of this new technology stand to reap unbelievable benefits in the future. Employers in diverse fields are searching trying to hire cryptocurrency experts.
Acquiring that knowledge has usually proven quite difficult. Certainly, there are numerous books, websites and videos available for self-guided study, and a few basic online courses have started to appear. But there has been virtually nowhere to turn to get all the necessary fundamental information in a logical, coherent, step-by-step manner—until now.
