What’s the most fascinating thing about the engraving technique is the presence of a pencil sketch effect, vintage halftone, and letterpress outlines altogether. The darker shades or shadows an image has, the more engraving mesh repetitions you observe. And there come times when colored shots in this style might not look right, leaving only a black and white option to use. We’ve successfully solved this issue for this engraving photo effect!
Don’t be limited by the source photo dimensions, and be armed with square, vertical and horizontal PSD files. Each asset is packed with 8 color filters, operating flawlessly within the effect. And no matter what shade you prefer, the end result can always be altered by picking the suitable engraving mesh size: small, medium, and big engraving styles. Striving for that perfect photography look in letterpress format is easy if you have this filter stacked in your toolbox.
