Building a Voice AI Chatbot in Python

In this class, you will learn how you can make an AI voice assistant in Python using several libraries such as Transformers, PyTorch, SpeechRecognition, and more.

A basic level of Python programming language is required. You should also be familiar with installing Python packages using pip.

What you will Learn

You will learn the following:

• Using SpeechRecognition library to convert speech to text in Python.
• Performing Speech Synthesis (converting text to speech) in Python using two methods: gTTS (online) and pyttsx3 (offline) libraries.
• Loading pre-trained models on the transformers library and performing inference on them. Specifically, we will load the DialoGPT model to generate AI conversational responses without the need for training from scratch or fine-tuning.
