Over the past two years, we have witnessed a huge buzz around cryptocurrencies and all the related blockchain applications such as NFTs, DAOs, and smart contracts that have been emerging and booming ever since. Unfortunately, many people who blindly followed the hype without taking the time to educate themselves and properly understand the fundamentals behind these concepts have lost HUGE amounts of MONEY.
Think of all the people who invested in the Tera Luna and the loss they suffered in May 2022, or the one who bought the Jack Dorsey NFT Tweet that sold for $29 million in Marsh 2021 and was valued at only $29 in May 2022.
Losing money in the cryptocurrency world is not uncommon, but there are still large institutions, famous investors, and some individuals who are also making huge profits.
The only difference between the two groups is simple: the winners had access to the proper knowledge and understood the technology, the market, and everything in between. At the same time, the losers were just greedy and lacked the proper financial and technological education to guide their decisions. So instead, they just blindly followed the HYPE.
In the cryptocurrency market, your results are closely tied to how well you understand the technology and concepts you’re dealing with: Education is a must, not an option.
