Description
- Capture the timeless aesthetic of mechanical departure boards with SolariText, a powerful, one-click script for Adobe After Effects. Designed for motion designers who demand both high-end results and efficient workflows, SolariText transforms any standard text layer into a fully realized, 3D split-flap display. Gone are the days of manual setup, tedious asset management, or hunting for pre-built card folders; this tool automates the entire process, allowing you to focus on the creative direction of your project.
- What sets SolariText apart is its procedural intelligence. Unlike traditional assets that rely on pre-rendered images, SolariText generates a live, 3D environment directly within After Effects. This means your text remains 100% editable even after the animation is applied. Whether you need to change a flight number on a virtual airport terminal or update a countdown for a social media promo, you can simply type your new text and let the script handle the heavy lifting. The result is a tactile, mechanical animation that feels authentic, complete with the rhythmic “flip” physics that audiences find so satisfying.
- Customization is at the heart of the SolariText experience. Once your board is generated, you have access to a robust set of controls to fine-tune the behavior of the flaps. Adjust the animation speed to create rapid-fire transitions or slow, methodical updates. Control the sequencing to determine whether the flaps flip simultaneously, randomly, or in a cascading order. The script even supports multi-line layouts and multilingual characters, making it an essential tool for global brands and information-heavy broadcasts.
- Performance-optimized and incredibly versatile, SolariText is ideal for a wide range of applications, including cinematic title sequences, retro-inspired intros, digital signage, and dynamic countdowns. It bridges the gap between complex 3D simulations and user-friendly scripting, providing a professional-grade mechanical look without the technical overhead. If you are looking to add a touch of nostalgic sophistication to your next motion graphics piece, SolariText offers the perfect blend of classic style and modern efficiency. Elevate your typography and give your message the mechanical weight it deserves with the ultimate split-flap solution for After Effects.
